| Physical and Chemical Properties | This product is a polypeptide hormone secreted by the hypothalamus. Soluble in anhydrous methanol, slightly soluble in chloroform, insoluble in pyridine. It is a simple tripeptide. Animal TRH is no different from human. It can promote the secretion of thyrotropin (TSH) in the anterior pituitary gland. Intravenous injection of 15 μg is effective. If 50-400 μg is injected, the maximum effect can be seen within 15-30min. It takes 5mg for oral administration to take effect, which can promote prolactin secretion. It can affect the cell calcium pool, increase the concentration of calcium ions and play a role; and has the effect of anti-endotoxin shock. |
